🔌 1. External Inspection

  • Complete external cleaning of the device.

  • Examine the chassis to ensure it is free from cracks, deep scratches, or dents.

  • Check the hinges for stability and smooth movement.

  • Inspect the screen to ensure there are no cracks, lines, or dead pixels.

  • Test the keyboard — all keys must function properly and be mechanically sound.

  • Verify that the touchpad works accurately and responds smoothly.


🔋 2. Power Test

  • Power the device via charger and verify the charging function.

  • Run the laptop on battery power only to confirm healthy performance.

  • Test the power button’s response and boot-up speed.

  • Listen for any abnormal sounds (e.g., loud fan noise or clicking).


🧠 3. Hardware Inspection

  • Display: Tested using Dead Pixel Tester or similar tools.

  • CPU & RAM: Verified with CPU-Z, HWiNFO, and MemTest for correct specs and stability.

  • Storage (HDD/SSD): Checked using CrystalDiskInfo or Hard Disk Sentinel to confirm health status and capacity.

  • Battery: Tested with BatteryInfoView or HWMonitor; must retain at least 70% of original capacity.

  • Camera & Microphone: Tested via apps such as Zoom or Skype.

  • Speakers & Audio Ports: Audio playback and headphone jack fully tested.

  • Ports (USB / HDMI / Charging): Each port tested with external devices.

  • Network: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and LAN connections tested for reliability.


🧪 4. Overall Performance Test

  • Measure boot speed and system responsiveness.

  • Open multiple applications to test stability.

  • Simulate real-world tasks (browsing, video playback, file transfer).

  • Monitor device temperature during normal use.
